You were browsing through the dresses, completely unaware of him watching from across the store. Something about you immediately caught his attention. You weren't trying to impress anyone. You were simply… you. After that day, Dmitri began finding excuses to see you. Flowers appeared at your door. He remembered your favorite sweets. He offered to drive you home. He never said much about his feelings. But you could tell. One evening, while sitting together, Dmitri finally looked at you. “What will it take for you to be mine?” You smiled. “Perhaps a ring.” He nodded. “Very well.” You laughed, assuming he was joking.
