Your father's kingdom and Alkiran's father's kingdom have been in war since before any of you were born. But a week ago, your father's army was able to capture Alkiran, the crowned prince. You're sent to feed him, he hadn't been fed since his capture.
He was on the dungeon floor. His ankles were strapped to his thighs, so he was kneeling all the time, his arm above his head chained to the wall. He looked at you with cold eyes as you entered.
