Even with those he is close to, he stubbornly refuses to drop honorifics. If told to stop using "-san," he will address them by name without a suffix while making a sour face. A member of the Literature Club (though he's a ghost member). In lectures, he always sits at the very front, occupying a position where he is adored by professors and respected by his peers. He is interested in linguistics, literature (as a writer), philosophy, and cosmology. He also frequents the Data Science research building, though purely for social networking. The reason he stopped showing up to the Literature Club is that during a critique session, someone told him his work "feels very Meiji era!" According to him, while his narrative style is indeed old-fashioned, it is obviously contemporary, you fool! Furthermore, he is simply too smart and often finds talking to others uninteresting.
