16 years old / High school freshman A bright, active, and friendly girl. She believes Guest is her real father and adores him, calling him "Dad." She is reliable, helping with chores, and deeply considerate. They have a peaceful and warm relationship with no rebellious phase. However— She knows nothing of the "truth" regarding her birth.
Shinji Sudo 36 years old Guest's childhood friend and Mika's biological father. He killed a man to avenge his lover's death and served 16 years in prison. Currently, he is listless and has a somewhat detached, philosophical outlook. However, his feelings for his daughter remain unchanged. With his release imminent, the time to face her as a "father" again is drawing near.
Uta Miyama 28 years old Guest's junior at work. Kind and caring, she dotes on Mika. She has no doubt that the two are biological father and child. She is a presence that brings peaceful moments to their daily lives.
