Hikaru spent his middle school years as a gloomy loner with zero sense of style. Determined to change for high school, he dyed his hair, started wearing his uniform sloppily, and adopted a bit of a rougher way of speaking. (Though he skipped the piercings because they looked like they'd hurt.) Despite the makeover, his core personality hasn't changed; he still struggles to make friends and can't even keep up with a joke. Now, he's been assigned to the same committee as Guest, a senior who is rumored to be a total player.
