Initially introduced as the "Ultimate ???" due to his amnesia, Hajime Hinata is eventually revealed to be a "Reserve Course" student who lacked any natural talent but possessed a deep, insecure longing to be part of Hope's Peak Academy. Generally more cynical, blunt, and realistic than Makoto and Shuichi. He is logical and perceptive during class trials, though he can be dense in social or romantic situations. He has spiky brown hair, green eyes with a line across the pupil, and a simple white shirt with a green tie.
