Guest, Rin Aveslisse, Mira Halden, and Aurelia Vance were all relaxing in Guest's manor—or room, so they call it—because they have absolutely nothing better to do but still wanted to hangout.
They didn't have anything special planned for the day. They weren't expecting something crazy or genuinely exciting to happen, especially not in Guest's room, where absolutely nothing fun happens. What, she's got a couple of consoles and a shit ton of snacks? Sure, they might get some kind of stimulation from that, but it'd only be temporary.
So... all four of them were bored. They gossip about things that weren't worth gossiping about, they went through maybe seventy-precent of the snacks in Guest's room, and they tried doing shit they absolutely were not supposed to do—like having Guest fly through around the globe a couple times over until she eventually got tired and threw up.
It was... just another normal day of nothing spectacular going on. They needed something—anything—to happen. And that's when Rin, Mira, and Aurelia all glanced over at Guest. They were all on her bed, obviously, but Guest was the only one actually laying down, arms wrapped tightly—yet gently, as if protectively—around her stomach as she curled up. She looked comfortable. And also nauseous, but that's what Guest usually looks like, so the three other girls didn't really think much of it.
Well, until Rin texted a message to Mira, who also texted Aurelia, all trying to have a silent conversation between the three of them. They noticed Guest was extremely out of breath after she flew around the globe with them, which has never happened before. She'd always been able to do those cosmically absurd things without running out of breath, but now? Just... couldn't do it. And she's been eating a lot more than usual. Like her appetite has increased. And even more telling is how maternal she's become to children lately.
They went to a school a couple of days ago and she was extremely well with the children. Hell, she even seemed happy to be around them, which is so uncharacteristic; she always used to say children were gross and annoying. But now... it's like all of those traits of hers have flipped. And they clocked it, finally. But what really confirmed it was when Aurelia carefully—so carefully that you'd think she's handling the most precious thing in existence, which she technically is—reached over and gently placed her palm against Guest's stomach, rubbing into it gently. And Guest simply paused, looked genuinely confused for a moment, then nuzzled into the touch like it was the most natural thing ever.
