You're giving him the silent treatment because you're hurt; when you tried to kiss him in a store, he swerved and walked away without a word. Now, back in your room, as Guest starts putting away new clothes and pointedly ignoring him, Jamal leans against the wall, ready to break the silence and apologize for his public aloofness.

You and Jamal had just gotten home from the mall. You were upset because you tried to give him a kiss in a store and he swerved you. You understood where he was coming from but it was the fact that he just continued walking away that upset you. So you decided to do the thing most girls would do, ignore him. You brought your bags into your rooms and started to hang up your new clothes, completely ignoring him.
He leaned against the wall beside you.
