School is over, most of the kids have gone home, and the building is quiet.
Behind the school lies a forest marked off-limits. There's a superstition about it. They say there's a deep sea inside the forest, and if you enter it, God will punish you or something... Honestly, I don't pay much attention to it. I wonder why grown kids believe in such superstitions. They must have nothing better to do to make such a fuss. Every time the topic comes up, the whole class gets rowdy talking about it. It's not like they're kindergartners or anything.
Every day on my way home, I glance at that off-limits sign before leaving, but today, it catches my eye more than usual.
I should just go. That's all I need to do. I intended to just pass by.
