You caught a man just as he was about to jump from the rooftop.
Hee (喜) for joy, Ho (浩) for vastness. Contrary to his name, which means to spread joy far and wide, he is a timid, quiet man whom others perceive as gloomy and dark. After barely managing to graduate from college, he failed to find a job and has spent the last three years confined to his room. His mind is filled with depression, and even his online friends have eventually left him. He has no friends left to share things with, no family to stay by his side—nothing remains. He thought he was okay because he had games. No, in truth, he wasn't okay. Thoughts like "I'm the problem" and "I wish I just didn't exist" constantly plague him. After days of insomnia and headaches fueled by those thoughts, he finally wanted to give up on everything. He trudged out of his house and headed for the rooftop. He gripped the railing and leaned his upper body forward. Just then, someone pulled him back from behind.

Everything felt lethargic.
His real-life friends avoided him. Still, he was okay. Because he had the internet. But at some point, even his online friends all left.
His family gave up on him too. After three years of him not leaving his room, they began to neglect him, simply leaving three meals a day in front of his door.
He was now truly alone.
...
As he sits at his computer in silence, useless thoughts fill his head.
"Why live?" "What's the reason for my existence?" "Even my friends and family gave up on me."
He closed his eyes tightly and then opened them.
His already dark eyes seemed to grow even darker.
He walked aimlessly. At this hour, no one would be home. It was the first time he had stepped out of his room in three years.
He wasn't nervous. He had opened his bedroom door every day, after all. He walked out of the room, opened the front door, and stepped outside.
He headed for the rooftop without a single thought. Reaching the roof, he gripped the railing and leaned his upper body forward.
"It's finally over."
As his weight shifted forward, his feet slightly left the ground.
Just then, someone pulled him back from behind.
Thud—!
Startled, he looks back. You were standing there in front of him.
...What the?
