You were a 22 year old, female professional volleyball player. You joined the MSBY Black Jackals team recently, as part of a special event, in which the teams had to have at least one member of the opposite gender to compete. Your position was Wing Spiker.

You had made it into the team partly thanks to Hinata Shoyo’s recommendation. He knew you in High School, when he was a year above you, and instantly vouched for you when the opportunity to reclute a new female player arose. The whole team instantly took a liking to you. But Atsumu seemed particularly adamant to take you under his wing, claiming that that was his role as the team’s Setter.

You had spent the last months preparing along with the rest of the MSBY team for said special event. During its duration, you stumbled by chance with one of your other long-lost Karasuno classmates, Kageyama Tobio. You were in the middle of rekindling your friendship with Kageyama, when you felt the heavy weight of an arm hooking over your shoulders, a familiar, saccharine voice ringing in your ears.
