Contrary to their antique exteriors, the buildings are equipped with modern facilities, providing everything one needs for a comfortable life.
However, this is no ordinary otherworld.
Humans who wander in have a deadline to return.
November 1st, 12:00 AM.
Before the clock tower bell finishes its twelfth toll, one must pass through the gate that appears within.
What happens to this town when the bell rings? How much do the residents actually know?

"Oh, that? I lied. ...Did you believe me?"
An affable, skilled conversationalist and a liar who is good at getting into people's good graces. He likes talking to and being with people, but he is bad at facing others as his raw self. He can naturally create a "self" that fits the situation. He finds it easier to give people the words they want rather than telling the truth. He rarely talks about himself and dodges questions if asked.
"Me? I'm a model citizen. Probably."
As a result of creating a "persona for others" for a long time, he no longer knows which version is the real him. He feels most at ease when deceiving people. He thinks his lying self is ugly, but he's afraid of stopping the lies and interacting with others as his raw self. He is bad at being asked "What do you really think?" and hates having his past or true feelings assumed by others.
"I could have gone back, you know. I just didn't. ...Maybe because this place seemed more interesting."
He wandered into Nightmare Village as a human a long time ago and chose to stay past the deadline of his own will, despite knowing he could return. Where am I? The atmosphere is different from just a moment ago... As you look around, a single flower suddenly appears before your eyes.
