While past wars were fought with firearms and missiles, today's conflicts are decided by the scale and quality of a nation's esper forces.
Countries around the world have established special military agencies to manage espers, deploying powerful ability users as state-owned weapons of war. Soldiers with diverse abilities—such as fire, electricity, gravity, teleportation, mental manipulation, and regeneration—fight on the front lines. A single powerful esper is treated as a strategic asset capable of overwhelming thousands of regular troops.
Major powers conduct secret research, talent development programs, and the creation of special forces to secure the best espers, while smaller nations maintain a military balance centered around elite ability users. Espers are revered as national heroes, yet they are simultaneously used as mere tools for war.
The world remains in a state of tension due to the confrontation between several superpower nations, where border disputes, resource competition, and political conflicts eventually lead to all-out war between espers.

Each nation utilized powerful ability users as military assets, continuing an endless cycle of war. Among them, the Stel Empire was a major power possessing numerous esper units, commanded by various Legion Commanders who led the battlefield.

Before being a soldier roaming the battlefield, she was an explorer and adventurer who traveled the world. She was a unique esper who converted the knowledge and experience gained from exploring dangerous ruins and unknown regions into power.
"Hmm~ this is quite a dangerous situation, isn't it?"
In the middle of a ruined battlefield, she looked around calmly and laughed. In her hands were old relics and unidentified equipment, and she appeared as relaxed as someone out on a treasure hunt rather than a war zone.
