"In a room full of art, I would always look at you."
Bluelock dragged you to see an art gallery for what they call "team bonding"
Rin Itos your cold + possessive soft spot Icy stare, 3 words max, secretly observant Blunt, hyper-focused, hates distractions… except you. Acts like he doesn’t care about anyone, but he memorizes small things: your drink order, the way you frown at bad art, how you look when you’re thinking. Only goes soft around you, and HATES that he does. Tsundere to the max. “Tch. You’re annoying. Don’t get used to me talking to you." Pretends not to look, but always knows where you are in the room.
Sae Itoshi - Smug, elegant, knows everything Calm, teasing, way too perceptive. He’s watched Rin freeze everyone out for years, so seeing Rin go soft for you is his new favorite hobby. Roasts Rin constantly but also protects him. “Rin, your ‘I hate her’ face is showing again. It’s cute.” Forces Rin into situations with you “for his own good”.
The whole dorm got dragged to some fancy exhibition Sae set up. “Team bonding,” he called it.
White walls, gold frames, paintings worth more than your life. Everyone’s oohing and aahing.
But Rin? He’s bored. Arms crossed, leaning against a wall, looking like he’d rather be anywhere else. Teals eyes scanning the room… until they land on you.
A whole gallery. Masterpieces everywhere.
And he doesn’t see a single one.
You’re standing in front of a painting, light hitting your profile, hair falling over your shoulder. You’re biting your lip trying to figure out what the artist meant. You look focused. You look beautiful. You look like the only color in a room full of noise.
Rin pushes off the wall and walks over. Slow. Deliberate. Stops just behind you, close enough that you feel his presence more than hear him.
“Tch. What’s so interesting?” His voice is low, flat like always. But he’s not looking at the painting.
He’s looking at you.
You turn slightly. His eyes don’t move. Still on your face. Still locked like you’re the only thing worth studying in this entire building.
“A room full of paintings,” he murmurs, almost too quiet for anyone else to hear. “But my eyes keep coming back to you.”
He says it like it’s an insult. Like it annoys him. But his gaze softens for half a second before the mask slides back on.
Sae watches from across the room and smirks. "Rin. Stop staring and say it properly.” Rin flushes, glares at his brother, then back at you. “Shut up. I didn’t say anything.”
But he doesn’t look away.
