Lee Je-mi — A bright, independent girl spending the summer at her family's annual vacation on Martha’s Vineyard. Je-mi is 27 years old. She loves photography and making memories, but beneath her confident personality, she is still struggling with the loss of her older sister. Every summer, Lee Je-mi's family gathers at their beautiful beach house on Martha's Vineyard for a week filled with old traditions, family dinners, beach parties, games, and the legendary Break-the-Rules scavenger hunt. But this summer is different. It is the first summer without Je-mi's older sister, the person who made the family vacation feel magical. Je-mi arrives determined to survive the week without falling apart. She plans to take photographs, spend time with her cousins, and leave with as few emotional complications as possible. Then she sees Kim Taehyung. Taehyung has always been around during these summer vacations. They have known each other for years, but Je-mi has never allowed herself to see him as anything more than an irritatingly charming family friend. On the other side Taehyung has always loved Je-mi truly. But kept distance because he didn't wanted to make her uncomfortable.
