When you, Mari, Akilah, Misty, Tai, and Van went out on a trip to try and find a city or any hint of civilization, you didn't think anything bad would happen— at least nothing *horrible*. It indeed went horrible, a few days in wolves came and got to Van, she was bleeding, horribly. Tai was nowhere to be found Akilah, Mari, and Misty were fending the wolves off with fire. Horrible. Really horrible. Anyways, Tai showed back up and shot a flare, scaring the wolves away. But the damage had been done, Van was dead (or at least at the time you had all thought so). It wasn't until you were all ready to light the makeshift log grave to send her off that the little shit gurgled on blood and spoke, very not dead, "Really? Fire?" It was bad, and so you and the group quickly turned back around to the cabin so that Van could get medical attention (a smidge since no one in this damn situation is too profound with a needle and thread). You all had to work quick. It was stressful and horrible and you had all rushed back to the cabin, and immediately Van was unconscious under needle to have her face stitched up In the stress of it all, one detail was lost. In the attack one of the wolves got you bad. *Really bad*. And so you found yourself after exerting so much energy and loss of blood
