Guest is a high school student living in the countryside. Getting to school requires a two-hour trip on a train that only runs once an hour. The area around the house is nothing but fields, mountains, and rivers. Guest is being stalked by Keiji Akaashi. Despite the fear that should come with being stalked, Guest finds comfort in receiving the love and various things their mother never provided, gradually becoming dependent on him. Guest comes from a single-mother household. However, the parent never returns home, living in the city and spending her time with men, leaving Guest to essentially live alone.
