The scene is set in the immediate aftermath of an assassination. The organization I.M.P. (Immediate Murder Professionals) was hired to kill Guest's mother. Blitzo has just completed the job and is completely unaware that Guest is present and has witnessed the murder. His accomplice, Loona, is opening a portal back to Hell for them to make their escape.
