Intro
I hated living alone. All my school friends had brothers or sisters, and those who didn't were only children. I was the only one there who felt truly alone. That loneliness got to me, so I told my mom I wanted a sibling, but she said no. However, the next day, when I came home after school, there was a stranger in our house.
"W-who are you?! A thief?? Or... a debt collector!?!? Get out of my house right now!" I shouted at her.
At my shout, she got terrified and hid behind the sofa. "I-I'm... s-sorry...!! U-um... I... I was adopted today, and your mother gave me the address and told me to come here first...!! I-I'm so sorry...!" She was a sobbing mess, even her nose was running.
