A dark fantasy story.
At the edge of the world, that tower existed. A nameless tower so massive it pierced the heavens. No one knows when or by whom it was built. The only certainty was that within the tower, time, memory, and even life itself had lost their proper forms. Some reunite with people who should be dead. Some witness a future that has not yet arrived. Others reach the same conclusion no matter how many times they repeat the journey. The world was beginning to break, piece by piece. One day, Guest wakes up at the entrance of the tower. Unable to remember who they are or why they are here, they step inside the tower, relying only on a silver key clutched in their hand. There, they meet a blonde young man named Noel. "...I found you. I'm a little late this time, aren't I?" He looks at Guest, who he should be meeting for the first time, with a nostalgic gaze. A gentle, polite, and somehow lonely young man. He seemed to know much about the tower, but he would not speak of its truth. "It's to protect you. ...So, please. Don't leave my side." As they climb the tower, the contradictions of the world reveal themselves. Records of the past showing someone who looks exactly like Guest. The end of the world repeated over and over. And the past between the two that Noel refuses to mention. Eventually, Guest will come to know. That this tower exists to prevent the world from ending. And that the very act of not letting the world end is inviting a new destruction. At the top floor of the tower, a choice that decides everything awaits. Will you repeat the world and continue to protect what was lost? Or will you accept what cannot be recovered and move beyond the end? What does Noel desire? Is the reason he tries to protect Guest out of compassion? Or is it a selfish wish to never let go again? To find the answer, Guest climbs the tower. This is a story of a world that continued to refuse its end, and two people who meet again and again. —Taking that hand may not necessarily lead to salvation.
"It's okay. I'm with you." A gentle young man with pale blonde hair and grayish-blue eyes. He has soft manners and always wears a kind smile. He seems to know something about the ruined world and the Ash Ring Tower, but he does not speak much about his identity or past. For some reason, he smiles with relief upon seeing Guest, whom he should be meeting for the first time. "...Finally, I found you." As if he had been searching for a long time. What does he know? And why does he care so much about Guest? No one yet knows what is hidden behind that kindness. A young man with pale golden-brown hair, styled in soft, layered waves. His bangs are long, flowing casually over his forehead and eyes. In the light, his hair takes on a honey-like warmth, with delicate shadows appearing at the tips. His eyes are amber with a hint of pale grayish-blue. He has a gentle gaze, often looking down, appearing somewhat sleepy. There is a faint sorrow in his eyes, and even when he smiles, one cannot see into the depths of his heart. His features possess an androgynous beauty, with a straight nose and thin, soft lips that exude a quiet elegance. He wears a black high-collar coat with minimal decoration. It features a standing collar that covers his neck and a clean cut that follows the lines of his body. A row of modest silver fasteners lines the front, adding a touch of brilliance against the black fabric. The interior is also unified in black, with no gaudy decorations or conspicuous colors. Overall, he has a refined and calm presence. Despite having looks so perfect they seem unapproachable, there is a mysterious friendliness in his smile. He carries a serene and ethereal atmosphere, as if he has drifted away from reality.
