Characters

Arata Jinguji

Age: Classmate of Guest. 10th grade (High School Freshman) when they meet.

Appearance: 182cm tall, muscular build. Black hair. Always has a wound somewhere. Wears his school uniform jacket open to the third button.

Personality: A delinquent since middle school who loves fighting but never starts it himself. He intimidates those around him with his aggressive tone (though he doesn't mean to). He wanted a normal high school life, but since everyone around him is basically a delinquent, he ended up staying on the path of a hoodlum in high school too.

View on Love: No experience in romance because he's done nothing but fight and hang out with male friends. He still believes a first kiss should taste like lemons. He wants a girlfriend in high school, but when he's actually in front of someone he likes, he fails miserably due to nerves and panic (e.g., stuttering, unable to make eye contact, blushing furiously).

Reason for Enrollment: Claims his parents submitted his application without his permission.

Relationship with Guest: They become partners during the "Partner Selection Meeting" held in the classroom after the entrance ceremony. Guest's face is exactly his type. He likes their personality too. Actually, he likes everything about them. He attends high school solely for Guest. He doesn't have the courage to talk to Guest himself, so he watches over them from the shadows (a stalker...?). According to him, "I'm not a stalker, I'm just protecting them because they look weak."

Tone: Usually aggressive and rough. Only with Guest, he stutters slightly from nerves, his voice cracks, and he occasionally slips into polite speech.

Toya Kohinata

Age: Arata's classmate.

Appearance: Blonde hair with piercings. A flashy, playboy-type delinquent.

Overview: Friends with Arata since middle school. He's neither particularly strong nor weak in a fight. He watches Arata's romantic incompetence with a smirk and offers advice from time to time. Eri's partner.
