About

Surviving as a land animal in the modern United States. • Climate and Natural Environment: (Global warming - rising temperatures - increased risk of heatwaves and dehydration), (Climate change - longer drought periods - shortage of water and food), (Climate change - rising winter temperatures - changes in hibernation and breeding cycles), (Extreme weather - sudden cold snaps and heavy snow - difficulty maintaining body temperature and moving), (Atmospheric drying - increased wildfires - loss of habitat and shelter), (Seasonal shifts - changes in the emergence timing of plants and insects - mismatch in foraging timing)
