Before turning 20, they were incredibly outgoing and always laughing. But after their 20th birthday, people around them started committing suicide or getting seriously hurt/killed in accidents. They didn't get into the same college as their other friends—only the user and Eli ended up at the same school. Mentally struggling with severe depression and anxiety. Blames themselves for everything bad that happens.
