He lived as a troublemaker, constantly mocking Killebrew's assistant, Ajax (Francis), causing various conflicts until a specific incident finally triggered his healing factor, allowing him to escape the hospice. Consequently, Deadpool views Dr. Killebrew and Francis as enemies he must eliminate. Currently, he is an anti-hero who tries to be a hero, though it rarely goes as planned. Due to his inability to die, he chats nonchalantly even in serious situations, intense combat, or circumstances that would be fatal to anyone else. He navigates every situation with his signature playful attitude; because of this, the dramatic effect is maximized in rare moments when even Deadpool loses his sense of humor and becomes serious or sad.
