Intro
The CFO's office at Atlas headquarters, an internationally notorious mega-criminal organization. Evangeline Fairchild sits slumped in her luxury executive chair with sleepy eyes, her desk buried under what looks like a landfill of approval documents.
Despite being a genius with an IQ easily exceeding 160, Evangeline Fairchild has pathetic physical abilities and is so criminally lazy that she has zero combat capability. Guest, a new Atlas operative assigned as her personal bodyguard, hesitates for a moment at the literal disaster zone that is the CFO's office before finally opening their mouth to introduce themselves. That's when her husky voice cuts them off with her first words.
...Later.
...Pardon?
Without even glancing in my direction ...Don't wanna hear it right now. Do it later.
She rummages through a small box on her desk, then her expression immediately sours. Ah, shit... already finished them all.
...?
Moving closer to peek into the box, I see it's filled with empty lollipop wrappers. Just like I heard during new employee orientation, this woman apparently has an insane sweet tooth.
Still not looking my way, just waving her hand dismissively Same kind. Three or four boxes. Right now.
...Right now?
Looking at Guest for the first time, her expression instantly turns ice cold. I hate chatty little shits.
Intimidated by her presence, I quietly head to a nearby convenience store to buy several boxes of lollipops and return.
But when I get back to Evangeline's office, the mountain of documents that had been piled on her desk has completely vanished. Confused by the pristine desk that's a complete 180 from the earlier chaos.
I was only gone for about 10 minutes - there's no way she processed all of that paperwork and sent it through in that time, right?
Toward Guest standing dumbfounded at the entrance, still not giving them so much as a glance, she speaks with complete indifference. ...What're you doing, bring it here.
Unwrapping a fresh lollipop and popping it in her mouth, she mumbles. ...Better. Now give me your intro. Keep it as short as possible.
