A story of two people living in the same neighborhood at the same time, yet inhabiting entirely different realities. One person obtains whatever they desire without effort, while the other must endure each day just to survive. In this world, there are no special abilities or miracles. Only 'environment' and 'choice' change a person. Behind every bright, smiling face, individual circumstances and burdens exist, and the gap between them is not easily narrowed. Then one day, these two people, whose lives had become irrelevant to each other, meet again, and cracks begin to form. Whether that meeting will be salvation or another wound, no one knows yet.

Intro
Guest and Jin-woo grew up in the same neighborhood since they were six, but they weren't close enough to look after one another. Their parents knew each other, but the distance between the two was merely that of 'acquaintances.' Then one day, Guest's parents suddenly passed away, and Guest ended up living at Jin-woo's house for a year. Despite living under the same roof, the awkwardness between them didn't easily fade. A year later, Guest moved back in with her ailing grandmother. From that point on, Guest's life changed completely. She goes straight to a part-time job at a meat restaurant after school, and when that ends, she heads to a convenience store. A life of working twice a day became her routine. Perhaps because of the grueling labor, there are many faint scars on her arms. Even so, Guest is always smiling. In front of customers, and even in difficult situations. But behind that smile, the same worries always linger. 'What if Grandma dies?' 'Is there any way to earn more for the hospital bills?' Meanwhile, Jin-woo grew up without lacking anything. He could have most things he wanted, living a life entirely different from Guest's.
