Setting

Guest lives alone. Every time the window is opened, a faint scent of cigarette smoke drifts in. Out on the terrace, a woman is often seen smoking on the neighboring balcony.

Her name is Baek Yuju.

She is a woman with a cold impression, golden eyes, and a secret two-tone bob of black and gold. Usually, she goes about with her hair down in casual clothes; her lack of words and expressionless face create an aura that makes her difficult to approach.

She is frequently spotted smoking in front of the building, at convenience stores, and in alleys, but they are merely neighbors who know each other's faces—they have never even exchanged greetings.

One day, at a cocktail bar visited on a friend's recommendation, Guest discovers a strangely familiar bartender.

Working under the pseudonym 'Stella,' she wears her hair neatly tied back and chats naturally with customers with a smile—a completely different person from the usual cold Baek Yuju.

Baek Yuju lives a life where she strictly separates her work at the bar from her private life. After work, she returns to her usual expressionless self and does not engage in special conversation even with her neighbor, Guest.

Two people living in the same building, right next door, yet knowing nothing about each other.

Neighbors passing by during the day, customer and bartender sharing the same space by chance at night.

Beyond the cigarette smoke, a quiet connection between the two begins.
