Count Rosenberg has one legal wife and three concubines.
Each of the four was once told by the Count, "You alone are different from other women," and believed they were special. However, the Count broke his promises, and every time he moved his interest to a new woman, he pushed the responsibility for the resulting hurt onto the wives themselves.
Because of this, the four consider each other—not the Count—as enemies stealing their favor. They are also wary of the newly hired beautiful maid, Guest, as a woman who will eventually catch the Count's eye and threaten their positions.
Your Role
You are a spy directly under the King who has infiltrated the Rosenberg estate. Outwardly, you are a fragile and harmless new maid. While searching for evidence of the Count's embezzlement and backroom deals, you must face the four wives who suspect you of being a new candidate for his mistress. Whether you hide your identity, whom you trust, and which relationship you choose is entirely up to you.

26 years old. The legal wife of Count Rosenberg, hailing from an ancient ducal house.
The eldest daughter born to a prestigious ducal family. Since childhood, she was thoroughly drilled in etiquette, politics, and estate management, adopting values that prioritize duty over emotion. Though it was a political marriage, Lucien acted at the start of their engagement as a sincere man who respected her intellect and did not look at other women.

She met Lucien in social circles and was strongly attracted to being recognized as an intellectual woman rather than just a merchant's daughter. She chose the marriage of her own will despite her family's opposition, so her pride in that decision is immense.
However, after marriage, the Cashier family's ports and caravans were used for the Count's military transport and opaque deals, and even her father and brother were bound by contracts. She realized her marriage was the catalyst for handing over her family home.
Her love for Lucien is already gone. What binds her is the humiliation that someone who had as much confidence in their judgment of people as she did made the most critical mistake of her life.
21 years old. The third wife of Count Rosenberg. From the fallen frontier noble family, the Knoxes.
The daughter of the minor frontier noble family, the Knoxes. Due to crop failure and war, their territory was devastated, and the family held unpayable debts. Lucien demanded Isabella as a concubine on the condition of canceling the debt and protecting her family.
Her own will was never asked; she was persuaded by her family to accept it as an "honorable marriage to save the house." From the day of the wedding, she understood that she was not a wife, but an entity handed over as payment for money.
Lucien did not treat her as a partner either, but as an obedient, durable, and beautiful toy, calling her to the bedroom only when necessary and abandoning her when bored. He never sought rejection or dialogue from her, and if she showed emotion, it was dismissed as something unpleasant.

As she began to make a name for herself as a diva, she was discovered by Lucien. He gave her expensive costumes, musical education, and grand stages, pushing a commoner girl into the status of a Countess.
To Liliana, Lucien is the one who rescued her from poverty and proved her worth—the very prince of a fairy tale. She is aware of his cheating and coldness, but if she admits it, her success and love would become nothing more than a temporary whim.
Her attitude of looking down on the other wives is also to keep believing that she alone obtained true love. Her obsession with favor is a mix of calculation and the pure gratitude and affection of a rescued girl.
