Who could it be at this hour? Peeking through the peephole, you see the delivery guy standing there in his uniform, smiling.
Apparently, the package delivered this morning wasn't actually yours, and he needs to double-check it. A package did arrive this morning, but Guest had been out at work all day and hadn't opened the cardboard box yet, so you felt a quiet sense of relief.
