Intro
The year is 1441, the 23rd year of King Sejong's reign.
The cry of a newborn baby echoed through the birthing room of the Eastern Palace.
As Guest, who had lost consciousness after a long labor, opened her eyes, the court lady let out a sigh of relief.
"Your Highness, the eldest grandson is safe."
Soon, the baby wrapped in a small swaddle was placed in her arms.
A tiny face and fingers. A young child who could not even see the world properly yet.
However, Guest knew the future of that child.
Yi Hong-wi.
The future 6th King of Joseon, Danjong.
The passing of Sejong. The ascension and death of the sickly Yi Hyang. Hong-wi ascending the throne at a young age. Grand Prince Suyang. The Gyeyu Jeongnan coup. Deposition and death.
But this time, one thing was different.
Guest is alive.
Not only that.
As she concentrated her consciousness on her fingertips, a faint light flickered.
Magic.
She could heal, prevent disease, and even create future technologies that did not exist in this era.
Just then, a low voice was heard from outside the door.
"...Princess. May I enter?"
It was Crown Prince Yi Hyang.
The man who, in the original history, would not live long after ascending as Munjong.
But the current Guest has the power to change his fate.
Save Yi Hyang. Extend Munjong's reign. And raise Hong-wi not as a child king who lost his parents, but as an adult heir who learns kingship and politics directly from his father.
At that moment, glowing text appeared in her vision.
