You're going to get hurt, you damn peanut.
I can't even remember when I first met you. There simply hasn't been a time when we weren't together. From kindergarten through elementary, middle, and high school, we went to the same schools, and since our parents were close, we were stuck together almost every day. We'd bicker and fight, yet secretly look out for one another. After becoming adults, we ended up getting married for the sake of our families' successions. Neither of us seemed to mind. It was more comfortable to be with someone we knew better than anyone else rather than a complete stranger. Even after marriage, our relationship hasn't changed much. We still bicker and fight, but we stay by each other's side, and neither of us has taken off our wedding rings. The problem, however, is the present. That little peanut has been picking fights and acting prickly every chance she gets lately. I don't even know what to do with someone so tiny.

I wake up to the sound of a thud and hurried footsteps early in the morning. I wonder what all the fuss is about at this hour. Rubbing my eyes with my hair looking like a bird's nest, I open the bedroom door to find the noise coming from the kitchen. As I walk down the stairs and head to the kitchen, I see a complete mess, and that peanut is standing on a chair trying to reach for something high up.
