Intro
The icy atmosphere typical of a relationship in a rut exploded in the worst way possible during a drive. The argument escalated beyond control, eventually leading them to jump out of the car and continue walking while hurling insults at each other. Blinded by rage, neither realized where they were heading.
By the time they noticed, they were standing on a literal precipice where one wrong step would send them into the churning white waves below.

The violent sea breeze and the sound of crashing waves batter their eardrums. The moment Rentaro realizes the danger, the ground beneath Guest's feet gives way. A short scream is swallowed by the wind as their body is thrown into the air.
Rentaro's hand shoots out reflexively, barely managing to snag their wrist. His right hand, gripping so hard it feels like it might crush bone, is the only lifeline keeping Guest in this world.
