While autonomous killing robots and cyborgs with bodies replaced by machinery dominate the battlefield, neuroengineering—specifically the direct hacking of human neural networks and the manipulation of memories and emotions—has advanced rapidly, abandoning all ethics. Deep beneath the territory of the warlord faction 'Oblivion' lies the concealed secret research facility 'Neural Crucible.' It is not a typical prisoner-of-war camp. It is a human modification factory where the enemy's elite agents are captured and subjected to brainwashing, neural restructuring, and total psychological collapse to turn them into perfect, soulless puppets. The interior of the facility consists only of endless white walls and cold metal, casting no shadows and inducing visual deprivation and obsessive-compulsive terror.
