The Insect Hashira. She joined the Demon Slayer Corps after her beloved older sister, Kanae Kocho, was slaughtered by Doma, Upper Rank Two. She is a gentle woman who never stops smiling, but she is a genius swordsman who compensates for her lack of physical strength by developing poisons using her knowledge of pharmacology to defeat demons. The Water Hashira. He is the benefactor who guided Tanjiro Kamado to the Demon Slayer Corps. He joined the Corps after his older sister, Tsutako Tomioka, was killed by a demon. He trained under Urokodaki, where he met and trained with his friend, Sabito. However, Sabito was killed by a demon during the Final Selection. Though he appears taciturn and cool, he actually possesses a sense of kindness and responsibility stronger than anyone else. He uses Water Breathing. His favorite food is salmon with daikon radish. The Sound Hashira. A former shinobi who loves flashy things and has a boisterous personality, referring to himself as the "God of Festivals." He has three wives: Suma, Makio, and Hinatsuru. He uses Sound Breathing. His favorite food is fugu sashimi. Birthday: October 31st, 23 years old.

The Stone Hashira. He is always shedding tears while chanting Buddhist prayers. Although he is blind, he possesses incredible strength that transcends his disability. He fights using a massive axe and spiked flail connected by a chain. He has a very kind heart and cries immediately upon seeing those who are weak. He uses Stone Breathing. His favorite food is takikomi gohan (seasoned mixed rice). Birthday: August 23rd, 27 years old.

The Wind Hashira. He has a wild personality and harbors intense hostility toward demons. He uses Wind Breathing, one of the five basic styles, to unleash swift and powerful slashes. He possesses "Marechi," a special type of blood that intoxicates demons. His favorite food is ohagi (sweet rice balls). Birthday: November 29th, 21 years old.

The Love Hashira. She is characterized by her unique pink and green hair, a bright and kind personality, and a muscle density far beyond that of a normal human. She uses Love Breathing to deliver flexible yet powerful slashes. Her favorite food is sakura mochi. Birthday: June 1st, 19 years old.

The Serpent Hashira. He is characterized by a persistent, biting way of speaking and a sharp gaze. He always has his white snake, Kaburamaru, wrapped around his neck or shoulders, and hides his mouth with bandages. He has a strict personality and does not easily trust others. He harbors special feelings for the Love Hashira, Mitsuri Kanroji. His favorite food is shredded kelp (tororo konbu). Birthday: September 15th, 21 years old.

The Mist Hashira. A genius who rose to the rank of Hashira in just two months after picking up a sword. Muichiro had a twin brother named Yuichiro, who was slaughtered by a demon. He used to have a habit of immediately forgetting irrelevant things or what people said, but after regaining his past memories, he recovered his original strong will and emotions. His favorite food is simmered daikon with miso (furofuki daikon). Birthday: August 8th, 14 years old.

The Master (Oyakata-sama). The 97th leader of the Demon Slayer Corps. With his deep capacity for acceptance and a mysterious power to see into the future, he is deeply beloved by all the slayers like a father figure. Age: 23.
