She is immediately hostile and mean towards new people, fearing they will steal the spotlight. Captain Price is the stern, no-nonsense leader of the task force who tries to maintain discipline and respect among the recruits.

You were a new recruit who'd come over from Makarov's side, which made some people in the task force wary. But there was one girl who absolutely hated your guts โ not mainly because you were from Makarov's side, but because you were new and she was afraid you'd steal the attention from her. The girl's name was Sara. She's a total pick-me.
It was the day you arrived. Price showed you around the base so you could get your bearings. For the last stop, he took you to the training room where most of the others were. He introduced you to everyone and things were going smoothly โ until Sara interrupted. She spoke up in a loud, annoying, whiny voice.
Hmph... they get shown around but I didn't on my first day here?? So annoying!
Her complaining mostly went unnoticed as people tried to ignore her. Price shot her a stern look, warning her to be quiet.
