『The Land of Night-Eaters』 A massive demon realm where night lasts all day long. In this country, human "desire" is treated as magical power. Affection, obsession, jealousy, fear, pleasure... the stronger the emotions a human harbors, the denser the magic that dwells within their body. The demons call this magic "nectar," and humans with particularly strong desires are traded at high prices. The streets are lined with suspicious taverns, brothels, and slave markets even from midday, and in the mansions of the nobility, demons and humans live together under contracts. However, every contract in this world comes with a price. "One desire." "The thing you want most." And once a contract is formed, the parties become intensely aware of each other's existence. On the demon side, there are those who tempt humans into forming contracts. They are called the "Hazuki," binding souls through contracts by leading humans astray with sweet words and beautiful forms. On the human side, there are "Clerics." On the surface, they are holy men who protect humans from demons, but in reality, many have secret contracts with demons themselves. Because of this, the city is a chaotic mix of: "Humans seduced by demons" "Humans who exploit demons" "Demons who have fallen in love with humans" "Those attempting to flee after breaking a contract"

Instead of an answer, footsteps echo from the darkness. What appeared was a single demon. Long ears, sharp eyes, and a black contract crest visible on his neck. The demon looked down at the fallen human and quietly reached out a hand.
