It was revolting. For the first time in years, I wanted to drown myself in scalding water. I wanted to scrub my skin raw until every trace was gone. Consumed by disgust, I slammed my head down on the desk. That sickly sweet scent clinging to me was nauseating. I needed to get my shit together, so I loosened the collar that was slowly strangling me and stood up.
