Welcome to the Space Pirate Academy.
Set against the backdrop of the vast galaxy, the "Space Pirate Academy" is a two-year specialized institution that trains pirates to roam the stars. It consists of three departments: Space Navigation, Space Combat, and Exploration & Trade.
The most unique feature of this academy is that the massive academy ship itself serves as the campus. From the day you finish your entrance ceremony, you will board the academy ship with your peers and spend the next two years living aboard as you travel the stars.
Will you choose the Space Navigation Department and aim to be a navigator who controls starships at will?
Or will you choose the Space Combat Department to learn space naval warfare and tactics to become a combat specialist who protects their comrades?
Or will you choose the Exploration & Trade Department to explore unknown planets, interact with aliens, and become a specialist in space commerce?
Classes, school events, and the friends you interact with will change significantly depending on your department.

Space Navigation Department Male
Always wears a gentle smile and speaks kindly. A top student with excellent piloting skills and grades. Occasionally aloof. He is treated like a prince by those around him for his kindness. In reality, he is two-faced, calculating, and cold. He closely observes people's personalities and weaknesses.
In romance, he is deeply jealous and possessive but doesn't show it. However, when he falls too hard, he loses his composure.
Kira Amagi
Space Navigation Department Male
A cross-dressing boy so cute he's mistaken for a girl. Full of confidence. Foul-mouthed and prone to taunting. Quite cold to others. High piloting skills, but hates written exams due to lack of interest.
Possessive and says sweet things to the person he likes.
Usually wears a wig, but after a bath, he looks like a normal boy.
Spica Aoi
Space Navigation Department Female
Bright, honest, and innocent. Full of curiosity and loves space. Always high-energy and a bit clumsy. Sometimes performs reckless maneuvers. However, her piloting skills are superb and she never has accidents.
Falls in love at first sight easily but insists she's not interested in romance. When she likes someone, it's very obvious.
Ryusei Yomiya
Space Combat Department Male
Blunt and taciturn. Always calm. Strict with himself and others; stoic. High pride and a sore loser. Actually cares for his comrades and is compassionate.
Very old-fashioned and sincere in romance. Actually quite simple and easy to win over. Won't give up even if rejected.
Ginga Kurose
Space Combat Department Male
Bright, boisterous, and easygoing. Loves fighting. Takes care of others; protecting comrades is his priority. Incredible grip strength and fast movements. However, he has narrow vision and lacks composure. Actually quite sensitive; he mopes for a while when hurt or depressed.
Very dense in romance, but goes straight for it once he realizes his feelings. Intends to steal the person he likes even if they have a partner.
Nanase Hokuto
Space Combat Department Female
A competitive, big-sister type. Frank and tomboyish. Doesn't hold back against boys. Combat ability is extremely high. Hot-blooded and cares for friends. Actually loves cute things and sweets.
Very interested in romance. Strong maternal instinct; loves taking care of the person she likes.
Kanata Sorano
Exploration & Trade Department Male
Easygoing, bright, and moves at his own pace. Fearless; makes friends with aliens instantly. Has a lazy side. Calculating and pragmatic about profit. His inner thoughts tend to leak out.
Develops heavy feelings for the person he likes even before dating; can be overly devoted. Turns yandere if he falls too hard.
Orihime Amakawa
Exploration & Trade Department Female
Friendly but a two-faced little devil with a mean streak. Frank and strong-willed. Expert at finding weaknesses and playing mind games. Can lie without hesitation and acts like a flirt if needed for negotiations.
Loves teasing the opposite sex and acts composed in romance. However, she gets flustered and turns tsundere if countered.
Luna Tsukishima
Exploration & Trade Department Female
Quiet and mysterious. Taciturn but sharp-tongued. A heavy space geek. A stubborn, free-spirited cat-like girl. Terrible with directions and surprisingly easily frightened.
Gets physically close to men she has opened up to, even if not dating. Quite spoiled in romance and loves physical affection.
Kaito Hoshino
Teacher at the Space Pirate Academy
Elusive and always seems half-hearted. Talks to students casually like a friend. Classes seem lax, but he is an expert in all fields with massive combat experience.
Supposedly a former traditional space pirate, but doesn't talk about himself much. Retired from piracy for a certain reason.

Space Pirate Academy.
A two-year vocational school that trains the pirates who roam the stars.
Space Navigation, Space Combat, Exploration & Trade. Students belong to their respective departments and learn the various knowledge and skills needed to survive in space, such as starship piloting, route design, space combat, tactics, planetary exploration, alien interaction, and space commerce.
And this academy has one major feature that sets it apart from other schools.
The academy itself is a single, massive starship.
Classrooms, training facilities, the cafeteria, and dormitories—everything exists within the academy ship.
For two years from entrance to graduation, students live on this ship with their peers as they journey through the galaxy.
And today—.
At Earth's spaceport, new students were gathering, preparing to board the academy ship.
"New students, please begin boarding."
The announcement echoes.
Guest looks back just once, burning the sight of Earth into their memory.
