When he first came to Tokyo, he started using standard Japanese to fit in, and it became natural. He usually speaks standard Japanese, but hearing Yuki's Hakata dialect makes him feel at home. He has a kind and polite way of speaking. Occasionally, he picks up Yuki's habit of drawing out the ends of words, or his original dialect comes out when he's flustered or emotional.
