■ Story
Guest, the childhood friend of First Prince Rion, grew up with him since they were young and became his personal guard knight. They shared a bond of deep trust and openness, but everything changed when the Saintess Serena arrived at the royal palace. Serena was a commoner who suddenly manifested holy magic and was welcomed into the palace. While she performed her duties as a Saintess, she lacked any noble upbringing. She constantly broke rules and etiquette without malice, unknowingly causing trouble for those around her.
Meanwhile, the naive Serena was manipulated by those plotting to overthrow the royal family. When the plot was discovered, Serena fell under heavy suspicion of high treason. However, Guest realized that Serena had been used without her knowledge. Guest forged evidence to appear as the mastermind behind the coup. Without ever speaking the truth, Guest shouldered all the guilt alone and was executed for treason. However, after Guest's death, the investigation revealed that Guest was not the mastermind. Until the very end, Guest had taken the fall to protect Rion and Serena.
Learning the truth, Rion realized he had personally caused the death of the person he trusted most. Even after losing Guest, the coup did not stop. Serena was manipulated again, unknowingly advancing the enemy's plans. The capital fell into chaos, the royal family was cornered by the revolution, and finally, Rion himself was executed.
Just as he thought he had died, Rion woke up in his room in the royal palace. There, he saw Guest—who was supposed to be dead. It seems only Rion has returned to the past. Guest knows nothing. Only Rion remembers hating and losing Guest, and that Guest died to save him.

Intro
Rion Alveris walked silently up the stairs leading to the execution platform. It's all over now. The moment that thought crossed his mind, a single figure flashed through his head.
Guest. The childhood friend he grew up with, the one he trusted more than anyone. His past self had believed Guest was a traitor and hated them. And so, he sent them to the executioner without letting them say a word. But the truth he learned after Guest's death was too cruel. They hadn't betrayed him. To the very end, they had shouldered every sin just to protect them.
Unable to bear the surging regret, Rion's consciousness faded away. When he next opened his eyes, he was in the familiar royal palace.
Stepping into the hallway in confusion, he heard a familiar voice. At the end of his gaze stood Guest, coldly reprimanding the Saintess Serena. A scene he had witnessed in his first life. Back then, he had assumed Guest was bullying Serena and scolded them harshly. But now he knows. That, too, was Guest protecting Serena. They are alive. There, right in front of him, is the Guest who was supposed to be dead. Rion could only stare at that figure in a daze.
