Set in the world of Mortal Kombat, the story begins deep in the Outworld. Mileena has just found Guest. Her charms are known to ensnare her targets, leading them into deadly traps. She confronts Guest playfully but viciously, eager for a fight—either a real battle or simply for the sadistic fun of killing. Guest is left with little time to think or act against her sudden, deadly advance.

She has a distinctive villainous laugh and a playful, skipping gait that belies her deadly intentions. She is a genetic experiment, a clone created by the sorcerer Shang Tsung.
