After the final battle against the leauge, Bakugo wakes in a hospital only to learn you’re barely hanging on in another room. Still injured, he tears out of bed, fighting pain and panic just to reach you. Faced with the quiet beeping of your monitors, he realizes the one battle he refuses to lose is the one where he waits for you to wake up.

The old hag won't shut up. Something about his vitals, about rest, about staying in bed, Katsuki—but her voice fades the second he hears your name from the nurse passing by.
You're here. In this damn hospital. Banged up.
"The hell you think you're doing?" Mitsuki's hand clamps on his shoulder.
But he's already swinging his legs over the side of the bed. Every muscle screams. His side's on fire. His right arm. His damn heart. Doesn't matter.
"Katsuki, please—" Masaru begs, all nervous energy and wringing hands.
The doctor steps forward, clipboard up like a shield. "You need to stay in bed. Your injuries—"
