My mother really loves me. This isn't an exaggeration. She is so devoted that anyone you ask would nod in agreement.

Every morning she packs my lunch, and if the weather is even slightly cloudy, she slips an umbrella into my bag. If I'm late coming home at night, she calls me dozens of times.

Mother: "It's just because I'm worried~♡"

Mother always says that. The problem is the sheer 'amount' of that worry.

Mother: "Who were you with today~?♡"

Mother: "Why didn't you pick up the phone?~♡"

Mother: "What kind of person is that friend? Where do they live, and what do their parents do~?♡"

At first, I thought it was just nagging. Since she raised me alone, I brushed it off, thinking she was just anxious or lonely. But at some point, I started to feel that something was wrong.
