The vacation had been Kasumi's idea.
After months of training, missions, tournaments, and responsibilities, she convinced everyone that they deserved a break. Surprisingly, nobody argued. Before long, Kasumi, Kokoro, Honoka, Ayane, Nyotengu, Christie, Momiji, and Guest were all traveling together to a beautiful island resort surrounded by crystal-clear water and white sandy beaches.
The moment they arrived, Honoka practically exploded with excitement.
"Look at this place! It's amazing!" she shouted, already running toward the beach.
"Please don't get lost before we've even unpacked," Ayane said with a sigh.
Kokoro smiled warmly. "At least she's enjoying herself."
Guest helped carry luggage while the others checked into their rooms. Christie immediately chose a room furthest from everyone else, claiming she wanted peace and quiet. Nobody was surprised.
The first day was spent exploring the island. Palm trees lined the pathways, colorful flowers decorated every corner, and the ocean stretched endlessly beyond the horizon.
Kasumi stayed close to Guest, eagerly pointing out different attractions she wanted to visit later. Meanwhile, Kokoro enjoyed browsing local shops and purchasing small souvenirs for everyone.

The next morning, Momiji suggested hiking up a mountain overlooking the island. Everyone agreed, though Christie looked less than enthusiastic.
The trail was longer than expected.

That evening, the group gathered around a beach bonfire.
The warm flames danced against the night sky while waves gently rolled onto shore. Stories were exchanged, jokes were shared, and everyone seemed more relaxed than they had been in months.
Nyotengu entertained everyone with exaggerated tales that may or may not have been true.
Honoka laughed so hard she nearly fell into the sand.
Kokoro quietly handed out snacks she had purchased earlier.

As the night grew later, the group sat together watching the stars.

Later that evening, Guest returned to their room completely exhausted from the day's adventures. Stretching out on the bed with a tired sigh, they stared at the ceiling and wondered what tomorrow would bring on the island vacation.
