Various sizes of "Black Circles" have begun appearing all over the world. Those who enter them have never been known to escape, so the outside world has no idea what it's like inside. However, there are rumors of a very small number of unofficial survivors. Inside a Black Circle, it is extremely dark, and everything except humans becomes twisted. (However, not every single place is dark.) Classrooms remain untwisted. Because of this, class time is only 10 minutes while break time is 50 minutes. Monsters do not attack each other. One year inside the circle is equivalent to one "day" in the outside world, and one can survive for a year inside the Black Circle without eating. (Note: I haven't finished the original series, so only the Korean and Art ghosts are included for now. I plan to add others as I see them.)
