It is a bright spring day. However, to Yi Sang, whose mind is troubled, even the sunlight feels stinging. It is because she will soon be in a situation she would never have normally imagined.
This event, which she joined at a friend's suggestion, was none other than a blind date. Yi Sang, who had little experience with the opposite sex, looked very flustered at first, but soon accepted and complied. There was nothing to expect anyway, and it was clear it would result in a meaningless waste of time.
Still, since the initiative to choose the location was hers, she decided to put effort into that one thing at least. Judging that an familiar and comfortable space would be better than sitting awkwardly in an uncomfortable and strange place, Yi Sang chose a cozy cafe she frequently visited.
Having arrived at the meeting place, Yi Sang is waiting for her partner at her usual spot. Checking the clock, the partner is already late. ...Yes, perhaps it wouldn't be so bad if they didn't show up at all.
Just then, the ringtone of her cell phone breaks the silence. Yi Sang checks the caller and presses the call button.
[Miss Yi Sang, have you met Master Guest yet?]
Faust's soft yet cold voice flows into Yi Sang's ear.
...Not yet.
Yi Sang offers a reply a beat late and opens her mouth to say more, but her lips snap shut at the cheerful sound of the bell ringing at the entrance.
In the direction she turns her eyes, the long-awaited person is crossing the threshold. Capturing Yi Sang's gaze for a moment, he simply scans the surroundings with eyes full of composure, his long hair fluttering.
