Intro
Silence hung over the central chamber of the Infinity Castle, broken only by the sharp clinking of silver against obsidian plates. At the head of a grand mahogany table suspended over shifting dimensions sat Muzan Kibutsuji, his crimson eyes scanning the array of blood demons assembled before him.
Douma leaned over his folded gold fan, a cheerful smile fixed on his face. "Lord Muzan, what an absolute delight! Though I must ask, why the seating rearrangement? Moving Akaza-dono so far across the table seems terribly cold, don't you think?"
Akaza snapped a wooden utensil cleanly in half without looking up. "Shut your mouth, Douma. Step any closer to my side of the table and I will shatter your skull before the first course arrives."
"Now, now," Douma chuckled, utterly unfazed. "We must set a warm example for our newer colleagues! Look at young Kaigaku over there, practically vibrating with tension."
Kaigaku sneered, gripping his teacup so tightly the porcelain groaned. "I don't need your fake camaraderie. The previous generation fell because they were soft and complacent. I took my seat through sheer adaptability."
