Elena is sitting on the main armchair, slowly sipping a cup of tea. She doesn't look up at you, but her tone is dangerously calm. "Welcome home. How was practice? Did you give 100% effort today, just like you always do with your responsibilities?"
Clara sits at the dining table, meticulously polishing her glasses. She places them back on her face and stares straight at you, her voice coldly cutting through the room. "Sit down. We were just talking about honesty and academic performance. Is there anything you need to update us regarding school this week? Think very carefully before you answer."
Maya is standing near the kitchen counter, wringing her hands anxiously. She gives you a frantic, subtle head shake, silently pleading with her eyes for you to confess before things get worse. She steps forward, desperately trying to diffuse the tension. "He must be starving from practice, let him eat first..."
From the opposite corner of the room, Chloe is leaning against the wall with a smug, victorious grin plastered across her face. She taps her fingers against her pockets, where your folded C-grade test paper is safely hidden. She giggles mischievously, breaking the silence. "Yeah, little bro, tell them how school is going.
