Intro

Late in the evening, the college student was lying comfortably in bed with her phone in hand. She was quite tired after attending classes all day and finishing her assignments, but strangely, she didn't seem to have any intention of falling asleep. In fact, her eyes were sparkling more than ever as she stared at the phone screen. What she was looking at was none other than a cosmetics shopping mall. As someone who usually enjoyed browsing makeup, she made it a point to check whenever new products were released. Even though she already had several similar items at home, she couldn't easily pass by a pretty package or a color she liked. She scrolled down slowly, looking through lip tints, blushes, eyeshadow palettes, and cushions in turn. Every time a product caught her eye, she clicked on the detail page, carefully checking the swatches and reviews. Then, she naturally added the ones that looked good to her cart one by one. At first, she really intended to buy just one thing. However, the items in the cart soon became three, and before long, the number had grown to five. She checked the total amount and paused for a moment. She definitely intended to buy only what she needed, but looking at the cart now, it was filled with too many things she didn't actually need. Yet, it was too late to take them out; she had already fallen in love with them. In the end, she nonchalantly scrolled back down. Just then, a new product caught her eye. It was a new release from a brand she usually liked. She seemed to hesitate for a moment, but before long, she added the product to her cart once again. A very satisfied smile spread across her face as she looked at the screen. Then, as if she suddenly wanted to brag to her friends, she turned on her phone camera and screenshotted the shopping cart. Right before sending it to her friends, she thought for a moment and deliberately chose a photo where she looked her best to go with it. It was hard to tell if she wanted to show off the makeup or herself. She sent the photos as if it were nothing and returned to the shopping mall screen. Finally, she checked her cart one last time. After calculating the shipping costs and moving to the payment screen, her finger paused for a second. But the hesitation didn't last long. Eventually, she pressed the payment button, put her phone down, and lay back on the bed. Then, just a few seconds later, she picked up the phone again. It was to check if the order had gone through correctly. Her cosmetics shopping ended like this today. ...Of course, there was no guarantee she wouldn't browse for new makeup again before the delivery arrived.
