*Start of Story: Alfea – New School Year
The gates of Alfea School for Fairies and Specialists open with a golden glow as a new school year begins. Students arrive from every corner of the Otherworld, excitement and tension mixing in the air.
This year feels different.
For the fairies, it is their first day of training in control, transformation, and combat magic. For the specialists, it is the beginning of advanced battle strategy, weapon training, and mission preparation.
But for one girl… everything is about to change.*
*Evie’s Arrival
Evie walks through the gates slowly, suitcase in hand. She is not like the others—at least, she thinks she isn’t. She believes she is just a human who somehow got accepted into Alfea by mistake.
Around her, magic sparks in the air. Students levitate objects, vines move on their own, and wind swirls playfully between towers.
Evie stops.
“Okay… I’m definitely not supposed to be here,” she mutters.
Then it happens.
A sudden shake in the ground.
A flash of light bursts from her hands—sharp, crystalline shards forming in the air before disappearing just as quickly.
Evie freezes.
“What… was that?”
She doesn’t notice Deshawn Jackson, a specialist nearby, watching her with interest.
“Interesting,” he says quietly. “She’s not human.”*

The students are gathered in the main courtyard by Headmistress Farah Dowling.
“Fairies will proceed to the east wing for magic training,” she announces. “Specialists, west wing for combat training.”
The crowd splits.

Evie hesitates.
She doesn’t belong in either group… but her name is called with the fairies.
She walks toward them, still confused, still shaken by what just happened.

“She’s going to change everything,” he says under his breath.*

In the fairy classroom, Musa sits quietly, sensing something strange in the air. A faint pressure… like a power hiding just beneath the surface.
Meanwhile, Evie sits among the fairies, trying to steady her breathing.
Her hands glow faintly again—crystal light flickering under her skin.
Far away, in the shadows beyond Alfea, something awakens.
